We’re an independent mortgage company that finds the best loan rate for you. There are hundreds of lenders. In fact, we have access to a full array of lenders that may only partner with us and not deal directly with the consumer. We bid the loan out to ensure you get the best deal.

I was driven to start FirstCapUS because I saw so many antiquated processes over 20 years in the mortgage industry. In my time, I learned that the client could get a superior experience by working with an independent mortgage company that has an array of lenders to choose from. Also, a better digital and streamlined process could reduce a lot of the wasted back and forth – and extra questions in forms.
With me, you’ll find someone motivated to create time & monetary efficiencies through technology and a 24/7 personal-touch approach to answering questions.
Refinancing or buying a home shouldn’t be a stressful process. That’s why I’m determined to surround myself with people who have that same focus on working tirelessly to make it happen the right way for the client.
I am FirstCapUS’s General Counsel. I keep the company in compliance with federal and state regulations. I have seen the ins and outs of the mortgage business and am aware of the challenges facing consumers today in light of all the options. I have firsthand knowledge of FirstCapUS’s commitment to servicing its customers and ensuring that they fully understand the process and are getting the absolutely best rate possible. It is a privilege and honor to be part of the FirstCap team.
As brief background, I grew up in Upper Arlington and attended Watterson High School. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Denison University and my J.D., magna cum laude, from Capital Law. My background is in litigation and I have worked for several law firms and insurance companies. I currently live in Merion Village with my husband and two dogs, Mitzy and Cece.
Chief Financial Officer
I serve as FirstCapUS’s Chief Financial Officer. I was a partner with Accenture, formerly Anderson Consulting, for over thirty years. Aside from partnering with FirstCapUS, I also run a private equity firm. I live in Upper Arlington with my wife and have three grown daughters and three grandchildren with whom I spend a lot of time babysitting.
Customer Experience Advisor
I am FirstCapUS’s Customer Experience Advisor. I work closely with our customers and partners and serve as a liaison to ensure a smooth process for all. I graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s in Communication Technology. I specialized in Human-Computer Interaction and have always had a strong interest in the way technology transforms and shapes the way we communicate. I have an extensive background in customer service and marketing and am passionate about creating and delivering a top-class experience for the customer. I’m a native of central Ohio and am proud to call it home. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my adorable and very active goldendoodle, Oscar.
